This plane broke loose in an Aleutian storm, struck some other planes, and was blown ashore. (VP-61's Chronology and Narrative put the storm's date as 1942-Nov-02). Note the white flag on the rocks near the right edge: the wind is still blowing hard enough to stand it straight out, snapping rapidly.
